TOP 100 CHARACTERS - PART 3

The thrilling third installment of my Top 100 Characters list

50. Tim Taylor played by Tim Allen in Home Improvement - this humble carpenter who cannot really build anything crept into our hearts

49. Walter Bishop played by John Noble in Fringe - he is a slighly unstable father figure trying very hard to be the best father he can be with his estranged son, also being a genius can only help his case



48. Liz Lemon played by Tina Fey in 30 Rock - this dysfunctional woman is a stereotypical version of the women we all wish we could have and her brilliant writing in the series also helps her and the show quite a lot

47. Colonel John Casey played by Adam Baldwin - I enjoy his hardass attitude and American spirit. Also his comic relations with Morgan and Chuck are worth watching

46. Ally McBeal played by Calista Flockheart in Ally McBeal - this zany lawyer, is one of the first shows delving into strong female leads, lesbianism and overall feminism in television

45. Jack McFarland played by Sean Hayes in Will & Grace - what a exciting character on television, he is so funny and his antics glue us to our seats

44. Wilhemina Slater played by Vanessa Williams in Ugly Betty - this scheming woman creates amazing situations for herself and the power she wields in the show is great

43. Dennis Finch played by David Spade in Just Shoot Me - another one of those iconic comedy characters that will go down into history as one of the greats



42. Willow Rosenberg played by Alyson Hannigan in Buffy The Vampire Slayer - what an awesome character, her growth from power to power in the witch front but what sets her apart is the relationship she had with Tara and the love they shared

41. Tony Soprano played by James Gandalfino in The Sopranos - iconic mobster in television history

40. Carrie Bradshaw played by Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex In The City - every week we used to tune into the antics of the four American women and their relationship advise they give out. And to prove the success of the character and the show - it has been turned into not one but two movies

39. Angel Castiel played by Misha Collins in Supernatural - a truely funny character even though he is not meant to be, the comic timing is brilliant and when needs to be, he can deliver the more serious tone as well

38. Vic Mackey played by Michael Chiklis in The Shield - a true mans - man, being a almost crooked cop and bringing down the bad guys is what most of us want to do.



37. Michael Scott played by Steve Carrell in The Office (US version) - he is brilliantly funny, a true genius and someone who brings in the viewers

36. Dr. Frasier Crane played by Kelsey Grammar in Frasier - a legendary pshyciatrist, that had to deal with his neurotic brother and live in father who is in the hall of fame of amazingly funny characters

35. John Dorian (J.D.) played by Zach Braff in Scrubs - this idiot doctor, with his father issues and best friend who is black, just reaches to us and even though the actual story is not so great the depth to which this character is pushed is amazing

34. Sue Sylvester played by Jane Lynch in Glee - the hard-ass cheerleading coach, who normally gets one over on the glee teacher is fast becoming an iconic character

33. Chandler Bing played by Matthew Perry in Friends - even though he was a bumbling idiot he crept into our hearts and we voted for him we saw him

32. Marshall Erikson played by Jason Segal in How I Met Your Mother - he is a very versatile character that blends well with the rest of the cast. He can sing, dance and act that which not all can do

31. Cordelia Chase played by Charisma Carpenter in Angel and Buffy The Vampire Slayer - she grew from vindictive cheerleader to fighter for the Powers That Be in a amazing showing of being a woman in power. As she grew in the show she grew in our hearts and when she died in Angel - I just had to shed a tear.



30. Loralei Gilmore played by Lauren Graham in Gilmore Girls - this whitty, sassy and beutiful woman has showed us what can be achieved when one puts your mind to something.

29. Arvin Sloane played by Ron Rifkin in Alias - one of the iconic bad guys in television land. His vindictive and dangerous streak scares even the toughest of the spy world.

28. Adrian Monk played by Tony Shalhoub in Monk - this detective scared of just about everything in this world uses his keen observation skills to solve the most difficult murder mysteries. And just for getting out of bed in the morning he gets on my list



27. Jerry Seinfeld played by Jerry Seinfeld in Seinfeld - what else can be said except "Seinfeld"!

26. Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo played by Michael Weatherly in NCIS - what a great agent, with awesome comic timing and his bickering with his female partner, Ziva is legendary!
